concrete finishes.
Exposed Aggregate Concrete
Exposed Aggregate Concrete is a decorative form of architectural paving in which the stones near the surface of the concrete are revealed. It is an ideal choice for driveways, garden paths, pool surrounds and outdoor areas for a textural, rugged and natural look. We have a wide range of colours to choose from and many can be further customised with a finer blend of aggregates, which is perfect for families or those wanting less of a rugged texture underfoot.
off-form concrete
Our off-form concrete finish refers to concrete features that are cast against formwork. The finished product takes on the texture of the board it is cast against. A smooth finish can be achieved by using a smooth form-face material whilst using weathered timbers, corrugated iron and embossed patterns or shapes in the formwork provide textural finishes.
honed concrete
Honing gives concrete a smooth, matt and durable floor finish. We achieve this by grinding the top layer of the concrete with abrasives using a grinding machine. The finished result is smooth concrete with an exposed array of quartzes, pebbles and other aggregates within your chosen concrete mix.
burnished concrete
Burnished concrete, sometimes known as trowel finished concrete, refers to the finishing of concrete to provide a hard-wearing, durable finish with a surface lustre. Commonly specified for industrial floors and warehouses, burnished concrete is also an increasingly popular outdoor floor choice amongst landscape designers for a minimalist, high-end look. Colour options include Architectural Grey, Charcoal (4 percent), Charcoal (8 percent) and Architectural white.
